 It wasn’t just another website project—it was about shaping the digital identity of one of the most iconic cultural festivals in Labuan Bajo. As the founder of Lingkotech, I’ve always believed technology should be more than just tools and features; it should tell a story. And the story of festivalgolokoe.com needed to be vibrant, soulful, and deeply connected to the spirit of the festival itself.

More Than Just a Website

Festival Golo Koe is not an ordinary event. It’s a celebration that weaves together faith, culture, and creative economy. People don’t just attend—it becomes part of their memory of Labuan Bajo. So, the website had to do more than inform. It had to invite, inspire, and immerse.

The challenge was to build a portal that:

• Provides event information that’s clear and always up-to-date.
• Acts as a central hub for announcements, schedules, and highlights.
• Becomes a platform for promotion—showcasing the performers, the rituals, the local creative economy, and of course, the beauty of Labuan Bajo.
• Feels festive, yet remains easy to navigate for all audiences, from local communities to international visitors.

The Development Journey

What should the first impression be when someone lands on the homepage? We decided on a bold visual identity: colors inspired by Mother Mary, simple and elegant at the same time.

Then came the content architecture. The audience needs quick access to schedules and all news updates.  We  were ensuring that festivalgolokoe.com feels alive, not static. 

A Portal With Purpose

As we launched festivalgolokoe.com, I couldn’t help but smile. It felt like handing over a beautifully wrapped gift—not from us at Lingkotech, but from Labuan Bajo to the world.

For me, this project was more than development work—it was a collaboration between culture and code, between tradition and technology. And I hope that every click on festivalgolokoe.com becomes the start of someone’s journey to experiencing the magic of Festival Golo Koe.
