Labuan Bajo Flores Tourism Authority Successfully Completes Website Security Assessment And Remediation
Bandung, 11 June 2026— The Labuan Bajo Flores Tourism Authority (LBFTA) has successfully completed a comprehensive Information Technology (IT) Security Assessment and remediation process for its official website infrastructure. The assessment was conducted in collaboration with the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) of the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesia, as part of the institution’s commitment to strengthening cybersecurity, protecting public information, and ensuring reliable digital services.
Following a series of penetration testing activities and security evaluations, LBFTA identified several security vulnerabilities and potential risks within its web applications and supporting systems.
Following the assessment, LBFTA immediately implemented corrective measures and security improvements across its digital infrastructure. The remediation process included system hardening, credential strengthening, software updates, code optimization, access control improvements, server configuration enhancements, monitoring implementation, and vulnerability patching.
The Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) of the Ministry of Tourism subsequently conducted a verification process to validate the remediation efforts. Based on the verification results, all identified vulnerabilities and security gaps have been successfully addressed and resolved.
This achievement reflects LBFTA’s ongoing commitment to implementing cybersecurity best practices and maintaining public trust in its digital services. The organization recognizes that cybersecurity is not a one-time effort but a continuous process requiring regular monitoring, assessment, and improvement.
I believe, “Digital transformation must go hand in hand with cybersecurity. Through this assessment and remediation process, we have strengthened the security posture of our website infrastructure to ensure safer access for visitors, stakeholders, and the public. We greatly appreciate the support and verification provided by the CSIRT of the Ministry of Tourism. Cybersecurity remains a top priority as we continue to enhance our digital services and tourism information platforms.”
