Lingkotech Continues to Support the 2026 Golo Koe Festival, Launching a Multilingual Website to Reach a Global Audience

Labuan Bajo, June 5, 2026 — Lingkotech has once again been entrusted to support the Festival Golo Koe Labuan Bajo Maria Assumpta Nusantara by compiling digital publications and developing the festival’s official website.

As one of the largest religious and cultural festivals in Eastern Indonesia, the Festival Golo Koe continues to show significant growth year after year. After supporting the development of the festival’s digital platform in previous editions, this year Lingkotech introduced several updates, including a multilingual feature with the addition of an English version to the Festival Golo Koe’s website.

These developments were made in response to the growing international attention to Festival Golo Koe and the various activities taking place in Labuan Bajo.

Based on website visit data obtained through Google Analytics, visitors to the Festival Golo Koe website come not only from Indonesia, but also from various countries such as the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Poland, Belgium, and China.

Lingkotech founder Engel Vione stated that the data shows that the Festival Golo Koe has developed into an event with global appeal and the potential to become a face of Flores’ cultural and religious diplomacy to the world.

“When we looked at the website visitor data from various countries, we realized that the Festival Golo Koe is no longer just for local or national audiences. It is starting to attract an international audience who want to learn about the culture, spirituality, and life of the Flores people. Therefore, access to information in English is a crucial need,” said Engel Vione.

The Festival Golo Koe Labuan Bajo Maria Assumpta Nusantara 2026 carries the theme “Communal Pilgrimage in a Synergistic Fellowship to Care for the Integrity of Creation” with the tagline “Step Together, Restore the Earth.”

These themes are considered highly relevant to current global challenges, particularly in building collective awareness regarding environmental conservation, strengthening social solidarity, and respect for cultural diversity.

As part of its support for the festival, Lingkotech focuses not only on the technological aspects but also strives to ensure that the festival’s key messages reach a wider audience through digital channels.

Through the festival’s official website, visitors can now access information about the history of the Festival Golo Koe , the schedule of activities, the Maria Assumpta Nusantara procession, participant information, a documentation gallery, the latest news, and various other supporting information in both Indonesian and English.

According to Engel Vione, digitalization plays a strategic role in expanding the promotional reach and strengthening the Festival Golo Koe’s position as one of the nation’s leading cultural and religious events.

“In today’s digital era, a festival doesn’t just take place at the event location. Festivals also live in the digital space. The website is the first gateway for many people to learn about an event. Therefore, a good digital experience is an important part of the overall festival experience,” he said.

The Festival Golo Koe itself has grown into a leading national event and is included in the Kharisma Event Nusantara (KEN) program. The 2026 event will be the fifth edition since its inception in 2022, and the second year the Diocese of Labuan Bajo has been entrusted with the main organizing role.
